Buying art online is a leap of faith. Sometimes the colours feel different in your space, the size isn’t quite right, or it just doesn’t click on your wall.

At Easel House, every order is covered by our no-hassle, 90-day moneyback guarantee:

  • If you don’t love your artwork for any reason,
  • Within 90 days of delivery,
  • We’ll refund you in full or replace it, and we’ll cover the return shipping.

What’s covered

You’re fully covered if:

  • The artwork doesn’t suit your space (colour, scale, mood, style).
  • The size wasn’t quite what you expected.
  • You simply changed your mind.
  • The print or frame quality isn’t up to your expectations.
  • Your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.

In all these cases, you can choose a full refund or a free replacement (or another piece, if you prefer).

Eligibility, timing & condition

Keep it simple and fair

Time window: You have 90 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Condition: Please return artworks in reasonable, resaleable condition where possible. If the piece arrived damaged, we’ll still take it back; include photos so we can improve our packaging and file a carrier claim.

What’s non-refundable? We don’t charge restocking fees, and “sale” items are included. The only situations we may not refund are obvious misuse or intentional damage, and fraudulent or abusive return behaviour.

Custom commissions: Fully covered for damage and quality issues. For change-of-mind on commissions, we handle each case individually—our starting point is always to make sure you’re happy.

How to start a return

  1. Get in touch

    Email hello@easelhouse.com with your order number, the email used at checkout, a short note on why you’d like to return, and photos if there’s any damage.

  2. Receive your return instructions

    We’ll confirm eligibility and send the return address plus a prepaid return label (for eligible regions), along with packing tips.

  3. Pack your artwork

    Reuse the original packaging if you have it. If not, use a rigid box or tube and plenty of padding so the frame or rolled print can’t move.

  4. Ship it back

    Drop your parcel off with the specified carrier. Keep your proof of postage or collection receipt until your refund is processed.

  5. Refund or replacement

    As soon as your return is received and checked, we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method, or arrange your replacement artwork.

Refunds

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method. We’ll email you as soon as your refund is initiated. Banking and card networks may take 5–10 business days to finalise the transaction.

Exchanges

Prefer a different size or artwork? Tell us when you contact us. We can ship a replacement once your return is scanned by the carrier, or process a refund and let you place a fresh order—whichever is simpler.

Partial returns

You can return one item from a multi-item order or all of them. We’ll refund just the items you send back.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective or not quite what you ordered, email hello@easelhouse.com within a reasonable timeframe after delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll replace or refund the artwork as quickly as possible, at no cost to you.

Common questions

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. For eligible regions, we provide a prepaid return shipping label for all returns covered by our 90-Day Moneyback Guarantee.

Do you charge restocking or handling fees?

No. There are no restocking fees and no hidden charges. If you’re within 90 days, you get a full refund or replacement.

Do I need the original packaging?

Original packaging helps protect the artwork, but it’s not mandatory. If you no longer have it, we’ll advise how to re-pack the piece safely.

Can I return a gift?

Yes. Ask the original purchaser for the order number, or contact us with any details you have. We can arrange a refund to the original payment method or store credit, depending on what’s appropriate.

How many times can I return?

Our policy is built on trust and goodwill. We’re always happy to help if something isn’t right, but we may review repeated returns on a case-by-case basis to prevent abuse.

What if my refund hasn’t arrived yet?

If you’ve received a refund confirmation email from us and it’s been more than 10 business days, contact your bank or card provider. If they can’t locate it, email us at hello@easelhouse.com and we’ll investigate.
